Most common complaint
« on: September 02, 2007, 08:28:02 pm »
........I hear from people is how fast their window cleaner is. They really don't like their cleaner doing the house in nine minutes! The other is how irregular they are "seems to turn up when he feels like it"and lastly "always turns up just before it rains". Never heard anyone say what a great cleaner they have.

honestly though how many customers are ever happy??

Iv had times when customers have told me how good a job iv done and reccomended me on to there neighbours and then 4 months later they both cancel just leaving a note in the window???

No explanation.

I think its quite hard making people happy, if you come often its "are you back already" if you miss a couple of weeks its"thought you had stopped coming its been ages".one min there singing your praises the next the cowboy £3 a house brigade is doin the job ???

Customers who would have them ;D

When I first started window cleaning, a customer complained that I was too slow LOL.  Seems we can't win.

If you do a good job, your reliable and make an effort to be friendly with your customers then they will have nothing to complain about, thats what I have found anyway.  ;)

I was due to do a job in 2 days on this buisness building... only 5 big windows would take about half hour...  I said to them £18 ....

I got a call today  "we dont want it done"  I said why "we have found another cleaner who will do it for £10

A bit more notice would have been better.  Still, at least they took the trouble to contact you.  It's more than some do.

bad customers a group of like this, had that a few years back got undercut, year later they asked me back answer to that was a straight : NO THANKS. they asked why and the reply was I need regular work  "did say I could do them as one off for £25 a house", and you cost me last time and will never happen again.. got a few one-offs out of it

Steer well clear of people like this, would be my advice.  ;)
