Hi Tim,
At least you have tried the Bentley
Been thinking about your probs while working. Seems you have diff. work- dont we all ?
The light brushes need a diff. way of using, you use the brush bristles on the upstroke not by using the pole weight to press on the glass, its a technique I use on the Featherlites.
The brushes are ideal for glass but if you have a lot of brick surrounds, sounds like the bristles are getting a good pounding.
If you like flocked bristles, could I suggest you try a Tesco blue colour "Melody" about £4 its a lot more flocked and half way to a Vikan. Also if you do get on with that then make an overhead manifold for your jets, that way when the brush has expeired you just unscrew the complete manifold rather than having to laboriously drill out new jet centres.
Hope this helps.
ps if you surform down the (width) edges by 1/2" @ 45 degrees, you will allow any brush bristles to splay better and prevent the stock bashing the brickwork.
