Ewan, I'd be interested as to why your first quote was "not worth the paper it was written on". Your second quote seems high to me. Is this for you only?

When I looked into this the broker explained that it was standard policy that a window cleaner couldn't (or shouldn't) be covered for breaking a window on the basis that he knew what he was working on. However, were he were to fall throuugh a window and ruin a new TV worth ?, the TV would be covered. The policy is covering you for someone tripping over your bucket, you breaking the TV etc. Forget the windows. If you break one, pay for it's repair and claim it as a business expense.

I'm having trouble as i'm doing multi jobs.

I asked for one to cover powerwashing buildings, patios, pavement etc, gardening and window cleaning.

They sent me a proposal saying:

Powerwashing restricted to patios, driveways and pavements
Tree felling up to 5 metres

Nothing about window cleaning.
