fitting minibore to hose reel

hi all i am thinking of changing my standard 50m hose for minibor but was wondering how do i connect it to my reel i have a heavey duty reel the metal one wihich is red in couler like gardiners sell.

The simple way is to leave a short length of your current hose connected to the hose reel and then attach the minibore to this with an 8 mm to 1/2 inch inline adapter. Connect up with a couple of jubilee clips and bobs your uncle.

I got an 8mm connecter that scews into the hosereel,push on your minibore and secure with an O ring.

try a hosetail wfp adaptor which you can get from window cleaning warehouse it reduces from normal hose  down to 8mm    6mm if u put hose in hot water and sweat it on

Why not just buy the 8mm proper hosereel barb with the O ring ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
