Wood floor cleaning
« on: August 02, 2007, 10:25:53 pm »
Ive noticed a lot of rental properities I clean this time of year have moved from carpet to wood or laminate in the lounge, hall and even the bedrooms.

So Im thinking of offering to clean them.

Whats the best method and products to clean laminate and solid wood floors.  Im not talking sanding just cleaning and maybe a polish.

Or am I wasting my time.

thanks
Mark

Why do you think landlords are favouring laminate, if not to save on cleaning costs. Unfortunately the trend is now towards better quality timber flooring, so the expected return to carpet might take a while.

With the better quality products, there could be an opportunity for maintenance / restoration, a company up here has been offering training and products for this market, for about 8-10 years.
