can anyone advise me on the best place to by hot water extraction powder in Scotland. As I live and work in Inverness I find that the cost of carriage can be astronomical. Thanks in anticipation

Haven't heard anything of him for a long time, but if he's still trading, Gerry Parks is a good contact. He cleans carpets and upholstery and also has a janitorial supplies business. I believe his trading name was something like Dirtsearchers of Inverness. He's a Prochem distributor.

You could also phone the major companies and ask them who their local distributors are. Alternatively, most now offer a delivery service, but for very small orders, shipping costs can be out of proportion.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
