Just do the Best job you can, show customer what the ends results are going to be like so there's no come backand they will come, they do take time tho.

Justin

Im finding that refferals are starting to happen now but only just and I am in Year 4.

Most People in our area dont mix with Neighbours and dont talk about the things they have done because most of them work all day and sleep and drink at night.

I find that when you do get a person that passes on your name they will pass it on to lots of people.

Hi Neil,

I get plenty of referrals but I've never asked for them so I thought I would try the referral request scheme, I've avoided it as I felt it was a bit cheeky to ask customers for their friends details but after reading a few posts I thought if you cant beat em, join em!

Most of my work just lately is coming from referals, I always give out plenty of business cards to each new customer.
I have a friendly aproach, always look after each customer, make sure they are happy with the work carried out, and most of all take the time to talk to them and get to know them.
I feel the more they like you, the more they are likely to recommend you to others.

Always do my best Rob, and customers usually tell me how delighted they are with results on almost all occasions.
Sometimes get the odd one though (usually trashed) as Im sure many on here will agree that no matter what you use does not look alot different afterwards and you soon know when customer is not happy.
