whicking is a problem. If I have used HWE in the past I have dried off with a bonnet process to prevent this.

Test, did a health centre last week, tiles 15 years old, never cleaned before. Reception area tiles were worn through to the backig!, could clean them all day and continue to extract dirt with no visible improvement!

Don't walk away from it,
why would you this is relatively easy to clean with very good results.
(You should come along to the CCDO and see how effective LM cleaning is on carpets tiles.)
HWE can cause problems with rapid resoiling and wick back of soil.
Cleaned using the correct method its no problem cleaning carpet tiles and is a very good source of income.

Most chemicals work fine. The trick is low moisture and skill with a rotary oh and some decent pads

Paul, what are decent pads? and i found hand rung pads lifted more dirt than a damp, sprayed pad. is this correct?

For normal bonnet Charley pads are very good and you only need 2 for any size job. I use dry fusion pads for use with the Thermadry and have recently used the dry pad approach with a quick spray to the pad, the carpet does get presprayed first though.
