purefreedom 200gpd ro
« on: June 14, 2007, 06:23:06 pm »
I have just fitted my old 200gpd from purefreedom to my new van for my second helper.
Its been ages since I last used it and although I am getting pure water at 000tds I am confused/cant remember which way the little tap should face when flushing or making pure water and the little lable it used to have on it has come off!!????
On one setting the pure is being produced about twice as quick as the other setting???
Anyone know if this is right?? Would this be set to produce pure of flush it???

Cheers

on my 300gpd if the water comes out of one of the pipes faster (alot faster!) when the tap is turned then thats the flush.

when the water flows out of the pipes at roughly the same rate this is production.

hope that makes sense ;)

On my 300 GPD one if the tap is in the FLOW position that is for flushing and I get a lot more out of the waste. On mine the flow/flush position is in line with the piping. On the other setting. The 90 degree away from the pipng position that is for production and I get roughly a 1 to 1 ratio out of the waste and product. The flush postion is the one in which you get a lot more waste. Might be worth checking the TDS out of both the outlet pipes just to make sure you have got them right. The waste will be the highest reading.

I have the right pipes but I just cant remember it wasting as much water as it is.
