Hoses and pressures

Any one have any knowlege on the different pressures the different hoses can withstand any help would be much appreciated

Sometimes its printed on the side of the hose??

i have just had a section of hose burst on me and was wondering if i should temporarily patch it up with some cheap hose from the garden hose?
