would a backpack run a 100m hose?
« on: June 03, 2007, 09:52:17 pm »
just wondering whether a backpack would run through a 100m of hose, looking into taking someone on with me

just a idea of getting a backpack for him. then eventually maybe run it through a hose if that would work?

also which one do you guys go for?

Why use 100m if its a bpack, the idea is its next 2 to the job ?
The new Omni 80psi probably would but the normal 40psi would not (based on my 35psi flojet, goes to 70ft but horizontally to 33m,) if it helps.

yeh ive just seen the new omnipole, that looks good

i have got a 100m hose at the mo out of van and i love it, but the idea of having a back pack would be good!

just the fact that i could plug it into the vaqn setup mode would be great

then i could strap the backpack to my old trolley, so id have 2 vansetups, a trolley system and a backpack...

It sounds like he`s trying to use it as a van mount.

I have used 50m of minibore with my backpack on setting 3 and it worked fine. ;)
