Window Cleaners In Scotland New
« on: June 15, 2007, 06:11:11 pm »
Just to give those who are licensed a quick update the Council have agreed that licensed window cleaners can be listed on the SLWCN window cleaning directory. We just have sort out a couple of issues which we hope will give us the green light to proceed.

This way licensed window cleaners and members of the public can then identify those who are unlicensed and either report them or stop using them.

For those of you who are unlicensed please get yoursleves licensed to avoid embarrasment which is already happening. Even major cleaning contractors are now starting to licence their employees but it is still a small amount.

You need to pass the costs onto your customers and they need to be aware of this. There has been major fall out in some areas which is leaving a shortage of window cleaners which means window cleaners are now charging what they are worth.

It will take time to get the message accross but hopefully this will turn our industry around for the better.

For the areas that do not require a licence we will be working on that in the future.

Cheers
