evolving of my van
« on: May 25, 2007, 09:20:34 am »
i started off with a trolley system and 8 x 25 litre barrels...i dont have any pitcures off that doh, but after a few months i did my back in, so decided to take the trolley apart and fit it into the van...to be fair not the tidiest job either

one day i went mad and ripped everything out, i then got a 400 litre upright tank. built my trolley back up and fitted it all in to run off the trolley but i could take it out if i needed

...then clever old me broke the pump, so got a shurflo and flow master from andrew at purefreedom (top bloke)

ripped it all out and started again, im now very happy with my set up. needs a little adjusting here and there, but i now have loads of space

look at the space compared to previous setups!

next thing is to build the same setup the other side and get someone out with me

any comments, done it all my self, with help from my uncle to  ;)

One thing from me....
Turn your pump 180 degrees, the way it is if it leaks it will enter the body itself

If you turn your pump up the other way, if it starts to leak, the water will run away from the electric motor, saving you from having to replace it.

If you two guy's take a proper look at Matts pump, he has it the right way, the body of the pump holds the motor, the thing below it, is the pressure switch, so any leaks will only damage the pressure switch and not the motor.
Turn it the way you say and the body its self wil fill with water, then knacker the motor.
