just make sure you have plenty of water available if you have your own tank because it uses loads! I use mine at about 250 psi, on my chemspec machine i run at about 2200 rpm! it's a great tool!

                All the best

Run the enigine at full speed always, the drimaster doesnt need the PSI turning down becuase it doesnt have jets, you alter the flow of the water with the little black needle jet near the Q/C.  Turn it of at the black valve on the tool head whenever you arent using it to save water becuase it does get through a fair bit.  I had to tinker with mine before i got used to it but now you would have to prize it from my cold dead fingers.

You dont need to run your pro mount at full revs John.

2000 rpm to 2300 rpm is fine.

the dri master tool is nice and light, but the amount of water that you will use is daft. Any time that you save will be lost by having to refill your tank.

CFR is the way to go. 5 inch head. Great when you get used to it.

regards

Chris

ps
I cleaned 2 suites today ( CFR tool), didnt even use 25 gallons. And that was at 300psi

Just noticed from another thread that you are new to upholstery cleaning John.

Watch the water temp with your pro mount 20 when cleaning draylon.

If its boiling hot you will damage the fabric.

Was told to allways run my TM at full revs by the Supplier, also on the TM forum i was told that running at less than full revs can put extra strain on the Rubber Drive couplings (ours is Hydramaster yours may differ but cannot see why). we had some shatter the other day and unless you have spares this takes you out of action.  If you worried about to much vac there is a vacuum relief valve on the tool that you can use.

We cleaned loads of draylon with the handtool, using MS, always come up well.

Woodbridge say to run the pro mount 20 at 2000rpm to 2300 rpm for upholstery and 2500rpm to 2600rpm for carpets.

Gives great vac, but not to noisey and good fuel economy.

Crank it up higher if you need more vac / heat.

Max rpm is 3200

just below half way ( I think)

get a rev counter a s a p.

They cost about £60 ? from woodbridge. Its just " sticks" onto front of the engine and then you wrap a wire around the spark plug lead - job done !

Sorry,

What I meant to say was, how do you clean dralon type fabrics with a TM, and a drimaster hand tool, because the heat is so high wont you distort the fabric and leave lines across it?

With any T/M you have a oppion to turn the heat down on the thermostat no matter what rev's you run at.
With the hydramaster Dry-master upholstery tool the faster the water flow the cooler the water on the fabric provided the thermostat is turned down. Sadley the down side will be the more water you will dump into your waist tank. :'(
