Saw John Garnet and Ian Lancasters vans in the car park

Lise and I were there from about 11.30 till 1.30, then we went to sample the delights of Blackpool (outskirts very upmarket and smart, plenty of dosh.  Town centre and seafront - YEEUUURRKKK!!!!  Filthy and  scruffy.  We just missed being hit by a half eaten carton of Pot Noodles some cretin threw out of a second story window in one of the "guest houses" in the streets behind the promenade)

Show was excellent, nice to meet people you've talked to on the forum, shame we didn't all have great big signs over our heads with our names on them ;D.  Old gits like me feel a bit embarassed peering at everyone's name badge to see if it's anyone we know, so I probably walked right past lots of you.

Apologies :-[

Mind you, I was wearing my green uniform T-shirt with the words: "Ian Lancaster Window Cleaner" embroidered on my right t*t in bright yellow, so you should have been able to see who I was.  Maybe you were all avoiding me? :'(

Cheers,

Ian

Hi guys

nice to meet you all again.

I didnt do too well in the comp , but my wife was very quick , unfortunately she left too many streaks to claim the world record.

In practice i timed her 6 seconds under world record place, but on the day nerves got the better of her, maybe next time.

At least on the day she beat the world record holder in a competition and got first prize.

anyway a big thanks to all the guys who helped me to get blinding drunk, i really appreciated it the next day when i woke up feeling worse for wear.

Went to the show expecting it to be a bit of a damp squid, quite the opposite. I enjoyed it more than the NEC.  It was nice and compact got a chance to speak to probably all the exhibitors except Peter, every time I went back to him he was swamped. (Must have downed a few pints later after all that talking)

Nice to meet you again John G.

Looking at name badges, recognised Brett’s name from the forum, was going to say hello but I was in a queue, turned around he’d gone. So “Hello Brett nice to see you” :)

New to all this but looked like they had a successful show.
