Membrane change

How do you know when your membranes need changing.
Mine are only 6 months old and I am told they should last a couple of years.
Can you tell by looking at them??
I can post some pics if so.
My RO is producing under 500 litres per day should be around 600-700 litres.

Usually you can tell when your membranes need changing as the output will reduce dramatically and your TDS will steadily rise. At 6 months old you should still be well within the operating life.

Thanks for that Alex
Is there anything visual you can see with them to get an indication?
