I might try them an excellent price. However I struggle to get everything on A5 I want to say plus a pic and a logo with A5. Wanting to go A4 really but the extra response wouldn't make up for added cost- or would it?

I've experimented with b/w on tinted and get as good a result as full colour on white. Best tint was yellow.

I like heavier paper cos ups response slightly and is easier for ME to deliver. Again not enough to offset cost though.

I've used leafletsforyou and find them exellent value. I do small runs of 1000 on my PC for testing single changes and use a chip resetter and ink so it's nearly as cheap, but a lot of hassle.

Looking a bit closer at print carrier, looks like you need to be spot on with your own production or you could end up with a lot of rubbish as there seems no human intervention.

How easy is it to set up?

A5 seems to work for me. Never tried full colour. Does the increase in response out way the extra cost?

Mike, what programs are you using to do your flyers. I design mine on publisher in A4 then copy / paste to word in A4. When you get the print screen on word you get the option to scale it to whatever size you want including A5, you'll be suprised at how much you can get on there

We have A6 300g postcards, remember you want people to keep them somewhere and not just read them and bin them.

How many people have space on their noticeboard for an A4 flyer?  I see loads of my A6 cards on noticeboards along with other business sized cards, but  very rarely anything bigger.

people keep things they are interested in, whether its on A4 or A6, i often see my A5 leaflet on notice boards, usually they fold it in half

I'd rather buy 20,000 80g A5 leaflets than  8,000  300g A6 leaflets.

most of them end up in the bin, so go for quantity rather than over-the-top quality

Just been quoted 195 for 10000 colour double sided A 5. How does that compare to anyone else?

Dont know but i do know i get twice as many a6 for that and you will get a better return from 20,000 than 10,000

If you really have a lot to say, why not use the a6 and direct people to a recorded message or website where you can get your message across in detail without all the printing costs

I'm using word and text boxes to get more in. It's black ink only and pulls 3/1000. Don't get too excited though cos I think it's the offer that has made all the difference which is a lounge full price with free hallway clean and half price hsl.

If I have time I use a red stamp with an end by date. Going to get them printed single colour now their tested in blue for my logo.

I now use yellow tint paper for all my versions. The title is the main thing and revolves around asking if they have a carpet need cleaning. I've tested about 5 questions with varying results.

I wouldn't use 80gsm paper as it crumples as it gets posted.. looks messy.

Saw my first order from Printcarrier today - had to repack it as distributor would not accept parcels over 12 kg, these were up to 29.6 kg, 65lbs!

Poorly packed, several hundred spoilt, going back to 1click print!
