Why use pure water?
« on: April 08, 2007, 09:11:50 pm »
On conservatory roofs that is. Why not use a cheap wfp from ebay - the type for caravan cleaning etc. and then use a hose with the customers water?

Mmm finish off with a squirt of pure? Or does ordinary water not eat through the green?

I always clean with normal tap water on conservatories, if bad a bit of TFR, then once clean polish up with pure!

I live in a soft water area so if I am doing a large conservatory roof I always use ordinary tap water.  If I am just doing a small roof I use pure.

Most Conservatory roofs benefit from a bit of detergent and a good scrub. By the time the customer realises they could do with a clean they are covered in green algae and too far gone to use your wfp on.

A brush from B+Q or Halfords is fine and tap water is OK because the roof is opaque plastic and spots won't show.

We scrub with tap water normally connected to clients tap and then rinse with pure from our van.

Always seem to get good results and no complaints.
