Use a backflip or Wagtail combi. Wash and blade in one go. Dai

Just a temperature thing - when the forecasters' say (eg) 20 degrees C they mean in the shade. In direct sunlight it can be considerably more.
It's a game of three halves!

It was warm today, had to wet the windows a lot and squeegee as fast as poss, was working on windows today that are split into 3 different panes due to the frame so ended up wetting the panes individually in the end when working in full sun because I couldnt go fast enough wetting them all at the same time. Lost a customer too as her son is doing them now, was a bit hacked off about that, where was he for the effin first clean last year or in the bloody sub zero temperatures in February. I asked to check it wasnt because I was doing a bad job and she said it wasnt but you still wonder. Her other son lives over the road and I do theirs and now I wonder am I going to lose them too.

When the sun is drying out the glass faster than you can squeegee it, use a 2 handed technique.
Not necessarily the 'Turbo Terry' one though.

Wash the top of the glass then squeegee off the water above the applicator.
You are of course continuing to wash the glass beneath the squeegee as you go.

But you should only be having these problems in the height of summer :o

this time of years worst for it i find, cos I've been using minimal water through winter and then you gotta get back in the habit of using more.
