Hi all

I have a customer who has removed ivy from her house and it has left the little suckers that attach themselves to the bricks.
Now, normally I would just blast them off with the pressure washer (done loads of these with great results), but the lady doesn't want the wall to look cleaner where the ivy was than the rest of the house and she isn't interested in having the whole house cleaned, so what do you think would be the best method... anyone had this situation before?

I have thought of a stiff brush and elbow grease and am prepared to do this, but if there is a better way I would love to hear it.

I can`t see how the wall is not going to look cleaner by removing the tendrals even if you use a brush, it going to leave marks surely! 

To save you hard physical graft, I would be tempted to use a circular brush attached to a drill.

Type-in `Removing ivy from walls` in to your search engine, or read postings in gardening forums.
