Hi all,

Just had an order come through to clean a 6x4 apex shed which has housed a few birds of pray.
Just been to see the job and there is not a lot of waste just that white/grey stain of the wood.
Any ideas on how to clean this shed?
though of pressure washing then timber care the whole inside

what do you think?

Nick,

Be careful not to have the pressure on your washer too high (you might damage the struture).

Spray TFR (traffic film remover), then wash off after a few minutes with water, and then spray a disinfectant.

Other than that, go to www.birdsh*tremover.co.uk I think you will like the video advert!  ;)

please type-in the full word when typing out the web address, as they have a policy that prevents the use of swear words on this forum even though they are valid in some instances.

If the shed is to be reused for housing birds - check your insurance first.
With bird flu and other avian diseases floating around, you will need to disinfect thoroughly.
When you have done the clean, advise the client - in writing - to have it re-lined or painted, to cover yourself.
