Dont know what was wrong??
« on: April 04, 2007, 08:04:12 pm »
Got to the first job this morning, connected hoses, turned on pump, no water?? Put pump on full blast, still no water??
Turned the pump off, took off the hose to the pump and the hose out of the pump, alot of water gushed out!! Connected the hoses back up, turned pump on, all working fine, did not have anymore problems all day!!
Why would this be??

I have a push connector on my hose just after the pump and when I get an airlock just leave the pump running and disconnect the push connector and suck until you get a mouthful of water connect it back up and bobs your uncle

Every time I move my pipe from an empty to a full 25L container in my trailer I can an airlock. I just disconnect where the pipe connects to my hose reel, put my thumb over the end and release slowly until the air builds up at the end and then let it all go. Airlock solved, back to work.
