tds readings

i wonder if anyone can help me just sorting my van out ready for tomorrow and checked the water coming out of the end of the pole and it reads 4 on my tds meter is this ok to carry on cleaning windows or will i need to change the resin in my vessel

it should be ok but I would change the resin or preferably get another vessel and run the water through the old resin and then into new resin to get the most life out of the resin.

Hi, ive been using WFP for years and can honestly say that values upto
10 are absolutely no problem, you will get good results upto 20 but
thereafter there will be spotting.
Also did you take this reading at the beginning of work or after letting
it run thru your system for a while; remember that there will always be
higher TDS reading at the beginning of work due to impurities in the Hoses and Jets etc.

Its not so much the fact that its gone to 4, thats OK. What you should watch is whether it is changing and if so how quickly. If the resin is exhausted it will  climb quickly. It the rate at which it changes that is the giveaway.
