I give away Solutions/One Step bottles to customers who spend a lot on carpet cleaning.
I tell them they are about £10 but they can have it for free.
A bottle of spotter is very little to give away if it helps you to gain a good regular customer.

I sell customers a trigger spray of Solutions for £10 but do give away to good regulars, once they have seen what it is capable of.
Profit from sold bottles more than pays for the freebies

where do you get the price of £10 for a spotter?
and when does 'making a nice little profit' become 'taking advantage off the customer'
I give customer a free spotter if they give me chocolate biscuits with my cup of tea, if the get out the homemade cake they get 2

We provide a free stain removal service for regular customers. Not only do they recommend us to everyone that they know, but they feed us biscuits, cake and compliments!

ps.....my 1 pence makes me the villain :-/
A tenner is easier to spell..........steve has all sorts of hassle at £9.99
