Hi

My elecronic measuring thingi has just gone kaput  this morning ,
any reccomendations  for products and sites for a new one , most suppliers don't seem to carry them , I know you'll say B&Q  but that's the advantage of living up in rural North Wales   3 hr round trip to the local diy stores,  thats why i Just love mail order.

I have been using a Stanley IntelliMeasure for a couple of years which has been reliable and accurate for working out areas for domestic work, plus it seems to impress the customers.

It is not really suitable for commercial applications with long corridors etc.

I think I paid about £20 new.

It is a bargain.  I paid 600 for mine and it doesnt look that much different.  I hope it is but sadly I dont think so, best, Dave.

craig, i have one that shape but i find it difficult to aim the beam straight to get a true reading, i use a black & decker one now that pivots at 90degs so you can get it flat to the wall if that makes sense!
