20x more power?
« on: March 16, 2007, 09:44:30 am »
A long time ago there were comments about a truck mount being 20x more powerful than a portable.  Does anyone know where it is.  Other than that where the report on the same subject is.  Best, Dave.

Dave-(Liahona) just out of curiosity, what are the stats of your t/m? I remember reading it was a steamway or steam summat? And i do remember you saying it was a machine you brought/imported over from the states. Very curious? ta.

Mike knows how to post the info on the machine I use so, Mike if you are reading this can you post it again.  Other than that if you look on Steamway's web site it is there.   Powermatic Legacy 2100.     Best, Dave.

in my house nowt gets done before 11am all the wife does is sit there and read the papers in her dressing gown, same on a sunday

I'm always up by 7am so I book a job for sat & sunday morning, nothing big ( did a l/r & d/r & hallway this morning tomorrow I'm doing a t/l & h/s/l). nice and easy and it puts an extra £250ish in my pocket for time that otherwise would be wasted.
