To have my pole holder on my roof rack with the brush head's exposed???
I have just tried to fit my pole holders (waste pipe) on the inside of me vauxhall astra van but my poles are too long when closed and stick out about a foot!!

I did for over a year and the brush heads got dirty from outside elements, was for ever trying to keep them clean to stop spoting, if you cant put in the van then have the brush head at the back of the van and give a good clean over the weekend

Why not attach a bag over the brush heads and velcro them tight. This will only take a second to do before you drive or at the end of the day. You wouldn't even need to do it if you were just driving around from a housing estate.
