problem with pressure washer

hi all would my pressure lose pressure at the gun end if the copperwashers are leaking  water also the bypass pipe between the inlet and out let is leakink would this cause pressure lose thanks chris.

ps the pump is a ws201 inter pump

Yes and Yes

If the by pass is internal I.E. it goes back to the inlet side of pump and it's leaking, then it will be drawing air into the inlet, this is bad news for a pump it causes cavitation, small explosions in the compressed water. This damages valves and pistons

hi there it is leaking from bypass little copper pipe up to the out let it was working fine but as i was finishing a driveway today it started losing pressure so i went to the mahine and i saw it was leaking all so would it lose pressure if the copper washers are leaking thanks chris
