water pumps for RO

i keep reading that people use a booster pump on their RO system.right here goes i store my water in butts in the shed can i use a shurflo pump it is 100psi.and where in connection with the pre filters and membranes does it go? hope people can understand my question thanks.

I guess a 100psi surflow would do just fine , it needs to go between the pre filters and the 1st membrane
