Shrunken carpets

Bit confused. I know all about not over wetting etc with Axminters and Wiltons/and the Belgians etc. But out of interest which of these are more likely to return to their former condition if they shrink?
Also, are there many 50/50 wool mixes? I could be wrong but I'm sure I cleaned a 50/50 wool mix Axminster which shrank and then expanded back to its original size.

you'll be nackered on the width, but you can get it back usually on the length, i've seen them go, its terrifying.
