Having been trad since 1980 when i started my window cleaning business i have decided to take the leap. Having looked at this forum for the last few months i have picked up some handy tips and have also spoken to one of you guys who works in my area who put me on to this forum.
Question is how do i pick out all the equipment i'll need, browse through cleaning sites and buy on line or travel to a decent supplier? Not sure who's nearest to me.
Any advice would be appreciated.

steve when i started i found a guy called mark @ wintecs to be a vert great help. his prices r very good as well.

Are you looking to go the d.i.y. route, or looking for a supplier that can do the whole setup for you.

Are you looking for a trolly system, backpack or van mount.

Where do you live. You could take a trip to your nearest supplier to get a good idea what you want then check all the suppliers out for the best deal to suit your needs.

Going to the one supplier does sound good so that's probably the way i'll go.As for the set up i want to do van mount but I have a double cab 4x4 and have not yet sized up a tank for the back. Any ideas.

Payload is about a ton, I'm 90% residential all in a small area of Essex.There is two of us and I'm flat out most of the time!

I would be looking at a 650 ltr tank, 100psi pump with hose splitter with the option  to run 2 poles where poss. This will depend on the work you have, only you know where it will be viable.

I have quite a lot of work it is not viable to use w.f.p on so i just trad it.

Its allways better to go for the bigger tank at the begining, than have to upgrade later.

there are a lot of wfp sellers and all probably good, however i have always dealt with facelift and found them to be helpful, if you want a supplier i would reccomend these and if you phone them they may meet you half way or even all the way, i know they do go out to people but not sure of distance to travel, its only a phone call away,

I visited them recently and got a mate totally fitted out with very good quality gear at a great price. Although they were very busy there Andrew took the time to discuss needs in great depth and gave down to earth advice. I've been going for 18 months all WFP so I know BS when I hear it.
