im currently looking at different types of vans , which are the most economical on diesel and maintenance , and also have adequate space for water fed pole systems and storage for other equipment , if anybody has any  ideas or opinions i would be gratefull

I dont think you can beat a tranny van  .... all the best getaways are done in a transit

used to have a tranny,but last 3 months been useing a vauxhall mwb movano and i love it.i think transits have the edge where it comes to reliability,but for its ride and huge space and headroom i will stick to movano from now on

Fot me its a Transporter. Good solid reliable van with the comforts.

My next van is going to be a bit over the top as i sticking with a Transporter but i'm going to get the Sports Line Transporter.

Hi Chris, what pressure washer do you use. I bought that lance ect for gutter cleaning but my old washer has seen better days so looking to get a new one. Also is yours powerfull enough for driveways, paths ect??

We,ve had 2 scuo,s. A Y reg & 54 reg, both fiat 2.0l jtd 7 both with upratrd springs.

The standard van is 825 kilo the 2.0 jtd is 900 kilo which is not much when theres 2 blokes & all there kit. I would recommend a 500 litre tank system.

40 mpg & drive like a car. Easy to manourve in traffic & parking. But , you can still put poles etc inside & all equipment.

The y reg has had a few problems, engine management system, 5th gear went & new clutch. Brakes can go quick aswell. If you run it yourself there excellent, but not really robust for employees to knock about.

There is a new uprated version out in feb so should be good i,ll be looking at one.
