commercial vehicle direct are spot on -08707518120, the cheapest quote for me by far and they cover all your wfp equipment, ask for Damon he's a good bloke.

Wow!
That was cheap.
Many thanks. If you lived closer I'd buy you a pint!

Make sure the WFP is covred for its full value if the van is nicked. I have had that problem, the van went and I got market value for van and next to nowt for a £4k WFP system.

The insurance for wfp is a seperate policy which I'll take out when its installed. As for the tank I was adviced to just add its value to the van insurance due to it being bolted/welded down.
I'll make double sure everything is covered though, thanks

I dont mean to cause any undue concern but van and car insurance policies dont tend to cover the added fixtures even if they are bolted down. they use a guide called Glass' Guide to work out the market value of the van when its nicked or written off and that doesnt work out the value of a tank thats bolted into it. I have been through this and felt the pain so dont want to see anyone else suffer.

Thanks Dave
I guess the safest thing to do is to include the tank on the seperate policy. At least I know everything is covered then.

no worries phil, they are very competitive, i have my wfp equipment covered from the same firm it comes out @ just over £100 a year, you can't go far wrong.
