I've spent big by my standards. £10,000+ was my answer mainly because I needed a van with bigger payload. Even a basic detup would have been too much for my old van (550kg payload with an overweight driver - me)

I live in a soft water area , so its cost me more for poles than the system.

I did it all on the cheap and its served me well but I feel now that I am being held back by my equipment. Thats fair enough, its the way I planned it but this year I intend to invest 10% of my ( greatly increased ) turnover on new equipment to take me even further. The better the kit the quicker and easier the work becomes.
