good value courses
« on: December 20, 2006, 10:10:48 am »
Hydramaster have both - Water Restoration Tech (WRT) iicrc and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) iicrc, on the list of courses they offer at only £100 each plus vat. Dammed good value if you ask me. But only 2 people have signed up . Me being one. so anyone out there who thinks this could be good,  get in touch. I live near by  so I could help you  with accommodation. that’s to say  I know of nice cheap B&B , and even have a spare room somewhere around the house. they do loads of differant course and they are all that price but they need numbers.

How do I get in touch with them, or you for that matter. I have both but would want to do them again. It is a very good price as the ASD is normally way upwards of 5 or 600, best, Dave.

The key to a good course is the teacher.  Ive been to courses where the teacher is very knowledgeable in his field but cant teach.

By contrast the guys at Prochem are very good in my opinion (especially Peter Hargreaves.)

How anyone can get that enthusiastic over a dirty carpet tile after umpteen years in the industry is beyond me!

Yes Prochem are very good as they do it day in day out but the course is basic.

IICRC courses are well structured but again depends on the teacher.

Worst courses Ive been on are hardfloor as there dosent seem to be any standard for cleaning them.
