XMAS TIPS AND XMAS CARDS
« on: December 06, 2006, 01:55:21 pm »

I'm having a good day....so far done 5 small houses and picked up £75 plus £45 in tips...oh and a bottle of gold watch.

I didn't send cards last year but feel perhaps I should this year. I know some of you do this. Do you send to all or just the ones who've looked after you?

Simon

we are sending cards out to all this year we always do.
Unless we really hate the customer they won't get one.

hi there,

i was wondering about this issue as well. I couldn't decide whether giving christmas cards just looks desperate, inasmuch as you're giving them out simply to recieve tips in return. the same goes to wearing a christmas hat (you know the ones; red with white piping) as if to say "don't forget, it's christmas, so tip me!". i personally haven't given any out this year because i believe customers pay me because of the service and attitude i offer all year round, rather than a card given out at the end of the year.

cheers, matt
