[cleaning co]

hi folks       as its been a bit tense on here this week  i thought if we posted a bit about ourselfs on here we might look at the way we sometimes respond to some posts a bit diffrent ?

o well here gos  : lol    i live in essex in a sleepy village just out side a market town called braintree , before i became a carpet cleaner i was a plaster for 10 years (not nice lol)   i hav lived with my girlfreind for 21 years (u get lot loss for murder lol) i hav a son of 18 and a daughter of 15 (y iam allways poor  :)  , a life long gooner fan (yer ok bring it on lol) am also a collecter of paul weller/the jam/style council records cds etc and hav a purpose built room 24ftx12ft  to keep them all safe (yes sad i know !! lol)
i hav two scooters a lambretta sx 200 and a vespa rally 200 which i dont ride anymore to scared of traffic !! lol but i used to ride all over the uk , i also hav a bmw convert  which i also dont drive as people tend to stare and i find it embarssing !!! my other hobbys are  :  drinking , beer,white wine,red wine ,g&t,  well every thing really lol   
well thats me done !!!  anyone else going to giv us an insight into thier lifes ?

You are clearly passionate about your work and life, which is great and gives you the confidence to "state your case" knowing that others will frequently disagree with your views, even although you have proven yourself and developed a unique approach.

As I've stated often, I'm slowly backing out of the business having put in over 20 years and usually doing something else at the same time, which is still the case.

We have 2 brilliant kids, one lazy sod and our oldest, at 20 who is slowly getting her act together

As we're in the "care" business, we have 4 vehicles to run, including my little Suzuki, which is excellent for this business.

My trading area is within the West of Scotland, although I occasionally have travelled to work about 60 miles away.

Even at my stage of life, I'm still learning and still experimenting.

I live in Inverness and service the Highlands. Can't imagine anyone working in a more beautiful place than me.I've been a carpet cleaner for around thirty years now and I really enjoy it. I can work in a council house one day and a castle the next. I'm 58 years old but can still manage to work up to twelve hours a day when needs be. I'm not a rich man, you can't afford to charge too much around here.I usualy charge around £50 for an average living room and £90 for a suite.The castle where I work regularly gets charged £35 per hour from the moment I leave home till the moment I get home.

I live in Lowestoft, Suffolk, (britains most easterly point and birth place to The Darkness and Little Chris)  I know, not much of a claim to fame is it

I am 35 years old,  and married for 12 of them to Michelle, and we have four boys....

Our company is Complete Cleaning, and we cover all forms of cleaning, carpets and upholstery being one of them.  Carpet cleaning is fairly new to me and I am learning all the time... I have to admit that I am always a tad nervous posting on this side of the forum due to the amount of negative posts from some, especially at newbies

Before our cleaning company was set up, I was actually a housing officer, and pushed a pen for a living!

I am big on movies, and the love of my life (apart from the wife) is my 42" plasma and home cinema.  I am also very passionate about my Koi.

Ill give this a go-i am as my name says although my mates know me as sid(long story!). Im 35 and generally a decent sort of fella(I know i can be abrasive, but really dont mean to be) i have been in the carpet business all my life-i used to wag school to work in the family business-lol. Started fitting and cleaning from the ripe old age of 8 years! My folks have a solid business as i have and i am about to purchase another shop. Between us we have a good set of staff that make sure everything is done properly! I have two kids-a 3 year old son and a 4 and 1/2 month old daughter of whom i worship both-they are my world!!! I have a house in north derbyshire(that i built-by hand) that ex lives in and my own pad. My hobbies are motorcycling(very fast-used to race on track) used to be part time in the army(REME) and generally just work apart from owt else. Icover the whole of Sheffield and surrounding areas and just love working! I am an australian resident as i emigrated in 2002 but that was a waste of time!! If ive got anyones backs up up then i do apologise as i never mean to harm anyone(not all the time anyway!) Its being cheeky but i always am!-I am going to put piccies o my kids on ere as then i can see them more often than i do(VERY bitter ex!!) I hope each and every one of you have a prosperous run upto christmas and beyond and good luck to all
