***VAN BROKE DOWN THIS EVENING**

Hi all

was coming home from a meeting tonight and my gearbox went or linkage am not sure till the morning anyone else had this with a fist scudo , dispatch , expert etc

gear lever snapped and hanging down its stuck in 1st gear..

gone 2 big commercials in the morning

what a nightmare ,,,

my mates ducatos gear box went today. not good.

got it sorted ...lost a days worth of money though i hate that .. cos i am off on friday..

it was the cable got the part a 4:00pm cost £105+vat madness ... tok 10  in to fit once the dashboard was out..

Well that doesn't sound too bad in the end considering there were thoughts of needing a new gearbox at first.  It's inconvenient I know but at least it's sorted now.  The down time for vehicles is often more expensive than the repair isn't it?
