Wow great topic.

Yes take out the plastic floor and sell it back to the dealer. Our dealer is giving us a free tank of Diesel when we take it back in for him.

The other plastic fittings in the back you also unscrew and take off, Those round the wheel arches. My sons van did not have the side sliding doors, Theres some plastic on either side that unscrews as well.

I cut the carpet off that came through to the back of the van underneath the bulkhead. I then packed out the big gaps and  silconed the gap between the van floor and bulkhead. Just to stop any water from entering the cabin.

I protecokoted the vanfloor and plylined it a couple of weeks ago. I have refitted the plastics except for the bit of plastic that sits in front of the back rear doors. I will fit this again when the tank is fitted in a couple of weeks.

My son as bought a flat 400ltr baffled tank, about £150 + vat, The rest is a 60psi flowjet pump with strainer, A 110amp lesiure battery for £55, I had a spare Di vessel, Hes bought a metal hose reel that as a fixing plate with it and 100mtrs of M/Bore hose. He will carry a mini pole, and a 20' pole ( 4 x 5' ). Both of these will fit in the van.

His frame is being made out of Stainless steel and fitted by A local firm who specialise in Stainless steel. The hose reel will be fixed to the top of the Stainless steel frame on a sheet of stainless steel, A stainless steel box will hold the Battery and all the other fittings will be attached to a sheet of stainless steel.

The company is charging £265 + vat for building and fitting the frame into the van. Money well spent in my book as it will look the Dogs Bo****ks when its all done.

Just droped off the tank, battery and hose reel, Cobra clamp, switch and pump at the fabricators this afternoon.

Just waiting for them to do it now.

Just ask if you want me to answer any more questions.

Nel.
