WFP and gutter cleaning plans
« on: November 19, 2006, 04:56:34 pm »
I would just like to run my WFP plans by the forum users. I intend buying a gutter cleaner and soon after a WFP system (either a DIY or ready-to-go system). I can't justify buying a van to transport it all so I intend buying a box trailer to tow behind my diesel Vauxhall Corsa (towing capacity 840 kg). The size of trailer I have in mind is 6' x 4'x 4'.   My customers are spread over a large area away from home so it would not be viable to 'make' and store the water at home as once I leave in the morning, I don't come back until the end of the day. Most of my customers have hard water so I think I would need an RO system and most  have outside taps so filling the tank would not be a problem.

Would the box trailer hold a WFP system and gutter cleaner? (The capacity of the WFP tank would not need to be that big as I will be able to fill from  my customers outside taps).

Does anyone else use a similar system ie box trailer? Any info. would be appreciated.

the only prob with useing customers water is that the RO process is at best very slow so you will almost certainly need to produce you water overnight, there are industrial system that produce quickly but i think that they waste a fair bit more namely the merlin RO also starting and stopping the ROwill mean that it wont get time to settle down ( tds reading that is)

But having said that in answer to you queries yes its certainly possible but maybe not workable
