Even the vans around here marked DWR CYMRU have Thames water written underneith. And who owns part of the water supply for Jakarta, Indonesia? You quessed it Thames water.
This water supply thing is part of a huge multinational organisation. I believe that the Germans are behind it all, and I'm not joking. Dai

I read today that the Germans have sold out to an Australian Banking group.

i think the water services should be nationalised, when privatised  they become more efficient by shedding workers but instead of reinvesting the profits in the infrastructure i.e. "plugging leaks" ect. the money is paid to the shareholders, they then get to the point were there so much work needing done to the infrastructure it is not profitable any more so they flog it to some one else who then go to the government and get money of them in the form of tax breaks ect. the government goes along with this because they dont want to be left holding it.
