Come on guys, this fella is after a bit of genuine advice. Not really the time to be taking the P**S

A piece of advice which has helped me and saved a lot of time is 'dog earing' your channel.
This is when you bend each end of your channel over slightly to create a bit of pressure on the ends of the rubber. It stops a lot of the excess water from forming runs on the glass and saves time when detailing the edges.
Hope this helps. If you have no idea what i mean by this i'm sure someone will post the link of a detailed picture for you. There was an old topic about 'dog earing' on here a while back so just run a search for it.
Good luck in starting up,
Lance
