Hi all,
A few weeks ago I cleaned a ladies 4 dining chairs. She called back a few days later to say can I clean her car seats, but also that there was a "pink tinge", possibly in lines?, on the dining seats. I cant actually remember the colour of the chairs, and I am going back tomorrow to see what I can do.
By that discription, can anyone tell me what it could be, and what can I do to try and sort it out so that she is happy?
Any ideas?

Sounds like those stripey chairs where the reds are prone to colour bleed, if so nothing you can do.

Hi Ben,

I had what this sounds like this once on a light pink sofa. Assuming the seats are self coloured my opinion is:

The "lines" could be caused be pulling some dirt from the padding material up to the surface of the fabric and it drying darker or more vivid than the rest. If it is try cleaning the fabric with the hand tool applying no pressure what so ever and let the vacuum of the machine lift the fabric from the padding. If the fabric is too tight to the padding, Spray the whole seat in one go from about 4 inches with the hand tool and then go over the whole seat with forward and backward vacuum strokes with only one vac switched on.

It could be the colour from threads behind the face fabric from a medallion design.
