Scientist at MIT have made a discovery thet may revolutionise the window cleaning industry, the basic idea is using sound waves set to a very specific decibel level that when pointed at a window will cause it to vibrate and essentially shake the dirt off in much the same way as an opera singer can break a wine glass. The technology which was back engineered fro a listening device which can read the vibrations an audio source inside abuilding makes on glass, Gunther Mendellsohn (bmarc)said that while the idea is still at the early stages it may be available to market by the summer of 09

When the new smoking legislation comes into force next year smoking will not be allowed in the workplace.
This includes vans
Van drivers and taxi drivers are getting nicked already in Scotland.
A taxi driver in Fife was fined £200 for allowing his daughter to smoke in the vehicle. Magistrates accepted his argument that he was off duty and the vehicle was being used as prive transport but said it made no difference.

I only admitted this to Ross, when he drunkenly told me he was actually NOT a Scot, he's actually English and was born in Sidcup in Kent!

Ccwc1988....what are we going to do with you! :-X :-X

Its a fun thread I suppose, and Trevor has endorsed it by contributing to it!

So we will let it run...

However.....it'll have a short shelf life if people give three or four word replies, punctuated with emoticons....

Maybe it would have been better titled..... "Hard to believe...but true!"

Oh, I also have it on very good authority that Squeaky is on the verge of investing in WFP, he is actually using some of the equipment required....Now only part of that is true (oh yes it is! ;D!)
but if the one part is true then it stands to reason the other will soon become so 8)

Blimey...what a man does in his own "castle" should remain a secret.   Leave Squeaks alone......just cos he likes his hose ;)
