I would go for a van but a nicely signwritten estate car would work (must be white, and just keep the sign writing to the doors.)

I would agree and say a van. It's something we are going to have to look at now as well.

As most have already said - a van looks the part

BUT

when we had 2 vans going in different directions ie different jobs there were and still occasions where you need more than 2 people and don't need/want to tie up 2 drivers ie you need >2 people at one job at same time = estate but they are still not as good as a van fpr storing bits and pieces

We were in exactly the same situation when we started 4 years ago.  We started with a Vauxhall Combo Crew Van which could seat 5 people and still have plenty of room in the back, then as we grew, we bought 2 renault Kangoo 2 seater vans, then a Vauxhall estate car which could seat 5 staff and lastly last year bought a renault Kangoo 5 seater MPV, this also has loads of room in the rear for equipment.  All the vehicle are fitted with roof racks for ladders.  With the vehicles we have now we have a huge amount of flexibility.

Yes, I would start off with a smart van with Graphics.

Personally i use a 4 door pick up, loads of room in the back especially with a truckman top fitted it also carrys a 1000kg with ease and has room for 5 adults to sit in comfort.
So all in all its a great muli purpose vehicle for both work and as a family car.

Van, looks good signwritten.

However, a signwritten estate car can be more eye-catching in some circumstances......

If you are carrying lots of valuable gear a van stops people seeing what's on board, but for office cleans an estate car will carry more people....

First choice would be a Ford Focus estate, in white, nicely signwritten...

If you're self-employed, there's no tax advantage to a van... if you are an employee then a company car hits you with more tax than a van.

i have a Citroen berlingo which is a cross between a car and a van.   Lots of storage, large boot and extra seats if you have to take passengers.  I also have mine sign written  it has silver bodywork with purple sign writing ,very eyecatching.   Clients feel better knowing you are a professional if your vehicle looks the part.

Hi I have an Astra estate and an Astravan - I want seats in my van now!  I should have had 2 esates I think.

Although the van does look the part as the sign writing looks great!
