Seems the con artists are about, just had a call wittering on about some disabled charity directory I'm supposed to have agreed to support, (I have not). The spiel asks how many copies of the directory I want or is one enough. When I said I don't want any and don't know what she's on about she couldn't get away fast enough.

Yes,they are parasites after your hard earned cash,just ignore them as our friend suggests.
Also watch out for Fire brigade/Royal greenjackets/business calendars/books for schools etc etc.
Books for schools phone you up and say that they spoke to someone in your company so many months ago and you agreed to sponsor X many books for schools and then ask for the several hundred quid that you agreed to pay.
