How do u stop your machines from freezing in the cold spells we get at winter time ( my garage has not got electricity),seen posts on how to keep them warm in the van but nothing about garages or lockups thanks

Hi George,
I suppose you could place a parafin heater in the garage on those really cold nights.
Also it's worth wrapping your machine and pipes etc in old towells.
Having said that when I had an unheated garage I never had any freezing problems.

I put an electric oil heater on lowest setting when its down to minus.You can just put an extension lead from the house to the garage.
