« on: September 18, 2006, 09:34:37 pm »
hello everyone.  can you help me please??
i have recently took on a contract which includes the cleaning of very dirty and dusty plasma screens on tv's.
Not sure what to really clean them with.  i dust them very lightly but if they have finger prints on i am not sure what to use.
Anyone give me a clue please??  Many Thanks

The product BSF recomends does work very well. For light dust my cleaners find micro fibre is good.

You see Mr Jones I do help sometimes  ;D, I like a laugh and a bit of banter, I give as good as I get when posters insult me, but I dont take kindly to having my posts/replies removed, its just not fair >:(

Hi Mel,

Long time no here!!

When the girls do ours we use a product called Safecleans. It's especially for plasma screens, however when I do mine at home I use kitchen roll and some spray wndow cleaner (but not too much!!)

Thanks everyone for the advice.  Shame it ended up going off the plot abit.  Perhaps there should be a thread called silly chatter just for those people who have other things other than the subject to comment on.

Microfibre cloths and warm water. If they are really bad. Microfibre cloths and a small, and I mean small amount of spray window cleaner ( alchocol based) spray onto the cloth and gently massaged across the screen. No pressure, as the actress said to the bishop.
