Time for a holiday New
« on: August 31, 2006, 10:43:10 pm »
What a week, you know when everything goes wrong :-

Monday :-  Switched my pump on and found that no water was coming out
of my hose ???. Must be blocked pump so dismatled everything, stripped pump
then connected it to battery and it worked. Great, connect everthing back
together, turn pump back on, no water ???
Try striping pump again, no water ???
Pump must be no good, need to drive to Cleantech.
Tried one more time, took hose off, it worked.
Looked at hose, " STOP" hoselock at end, forgot I changed it at weekend.

Tuesday:- Sprung leek in hose, cats had chewed hose. Cut off chewed hose
everything ok. Got back home decided to change resin, misses then starts
shouting as carrying bag out of house. Resin all over floor, cats had ripped bag >:(

Weds :- Tripped over one of those garden lights in customers garden and broke
   it.

Today:- Finished work early as had enough, rang misses if she wanted to meet
for coffee. Stopped outside Western Hotel, ordered 2 coffees, bill £6.20 ???

That was the end decided time for a break so booked weekend away in
Ribble Valley, times like this you need to get away.

Hi Doug, sounds like you had a bad week!  I used to have those problems but not any more, I simply get in my van drive to my first job fill up my bucket, take my ladder off the van and clean the windows, then I move on to the next job. Simple but effective!!  ;D ;D ;)

Wish I could mate, but nowadays it is becoming more difficult to pitch
ladders. It's like an obstacle course, householders no longer think of w/c
  with ladders.

Hence reason why went to wfp, watch them ladders slip on decking because
good old Joiner has laid the planks in a way you have no grip on ladders ???
