Free Business Cards
« on: August 30, 2006, 11:59:04 pm »
Hi Guys,

I know this has been posted a million times, but I was always under the impression that it was a con but Ive just followed the steps and Ive ordered 250 business cards just for the cost of postage (£3).

Hey they look OK and I'll just keep them as backup to my proper cards.

http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/frfuk?frf=329419241539

Anyway ive only posted it for anyone else who thought there would be hidden charges.

Regards

Alistair

There is a tick box on that site you will need to untick when you order or you will end up becoming a member of vistaprint and for this they deduct funds from your bank account monthly without warning

So beware

Arhhhh,

I do remember someone mentioning a tick box in a previous thread so I was very careful when completing the order and the only already ticked box was one signing up for emails and special offers (which I unticked) so either thats the one and there very sneaky cos it mentions nothing about DD's or they've removed it

I paid by Credit Card.     I hope they dont save CC details......and add charges to it.  I agreed to nothing & will be VERY annoyed if they do this to me.

I've ordered notebooks, christmas cards, fridge magnets (for my customers) and address labels.

Notebooks arrived today..............theyre OK.

The only trouble with vista print is they keep sending you the same email nearly every day.
One good tip when ordering is to buy what you want , fill in all the details but just before you place your order click on the x in the top right to exit the site. You should then get a pop up telling you not to go and they will knock another  20% off your order

I used to use Vistaprint as they were cheap.

But the quaility i think is not that special.

I now use goodprint and the quality is a lot better.
But like everything else you get what you pay for.

Funnily enough Paul ive ordered some top quality looking business cards from Goodprint and ive just ordered these from Vistaprint cos they cost £3 and will do for the obvious timewasters who ask for your card when doorknocking.

But the first Goodprint batch were dispatched 2 weeks ago and they've never turned up so my reorder was dispatched yesterday with any luck these babies will!

I am very impressed with Visa print.

I have odered the 250 batch of cards about 5 times. When I was completely happy with the cards I ordered 5000 cards from them. It works out cheaper then just sending for 250 at a time.

My only tip if your looking to the cards from them go on their email list, and every month they will offer the gloss finish cards for free. They are far superior to the matt finish you get, the colours depending on the design you pick are fantastic, the cards are thicker then the matt ones.

I used one of their templates for my sons cards. Unbelivable, The quality was fantastic and you are paying peanuts for the cards.

Same here use Vista print just had 1,000 deliverd quality great (if you take the time to change the fonts and letter sizes on the template..) also pay that little extra and have a gloss finnish. really looks the biz
Tokk to local quality printer once even he was impressed with quality and wished he could push them out at the same price.(apparently they make money by volume turn out)
The secret is not doing as you like but liking what you do
